Professional
Development
Implementation has been proven to be a vital element in schools who have achieved the greatest success with the programs. As part of the literacy solution, you will receive remote Professional Development, carried out by our experienced Implementation Specialists.
Your Implementation Specialist will work with your Accelerated Reader Team and will take them through the various stages of implementation a step at a time. During this period, you can contact your Implementation Specialist for advice and help if required. Your Head Teacher and Senior Management Team will also be invited to participate.
Remote Professional Development
Your Implementation Specialist will carryout remote sessions using Macromedia Breeze®. These sessions will be scheduled to take your staff through the implementation process step by step, and at a pace to suit them. Breeze requires a PC with a broadband internet connection and a telephone with a speakerphone facility, which will enable you to see and share your Implementation Specialist's screen. This gives your teachers an opportunity to ask questions and share experiences of the program.Review Sessions
Not only will you learn how to use the software, but more importantly, you will learn how to read, interpret and use reports in order to closely monitor the progress of your pupils. As you progress towards full implementation, your Implementation Specialist will agree benchmarks with you and will carryout regular reviews. They can discuss possible actions where pupils may not be reaching their full potential and advise you on other products or training, which might help you achieve your educational goals.On-site Consultation
If you wish, we can arrange for on-site consultation to be carried out in your school by an experienced Implementation Specialist. There is an additional charge for this.Certification
Ultimately we will be looking to help you to progress through our nationally recognised certification program during the time that we are working with you. This recognises the high level of achievement of your pupils - the result of a successful implementation. What will be covered in Training
