They're reading in the library now during social timesAll the advice we had received had encouraged us to start small and build up the number of students involved, so we decided to run the scheme with Year 7 and 8 increasing to all of Key Stage 3 in September. This was a good time for us as the school had just been refurbish, with the new library there was an increased interest in using the facilities by both staff and students. Using the Eclipse library management system we were fortunate to identify in excess of 900 books already in stock which were compatible with Accelerated Reader. |
